Modern
new replacement bases feature universal 110/240vAC and 24vDC power
supplies, and there is a choice of CPUs that maintain either compatibility
with old programs, or update to a modern instruction set. 2nd user
refurbished parts also available for certain obsolete or superceded
modules, but we do not repair power supplies or CPUs due to the low cost
of replacements. This PLC should still be considered for new applications,
based on the latest D3-350 processor, as it has a wide range of I/O
modules at the lowest cost.

High
density 64 point I/O and 96 point built-in fault diagnostics are the main
attractions of this PLC series. TI 425 and TI 435 CPU's have modern
compatible replacements, and we repair these CPUs regularly because modern
CPUs are not compatible with older EEPROM cartridges. Most of the popular
I/O modules from Koyo and FACTS Engineering are still produced today,
fully CE and UL approved. |
